Who we are

Commsback is an independent cashback service for crypto exchange trading fees, operated by a company registered in the British Virgin Islands. We are not operated by any exchange.

What we collect

Your exchange UID and which exchange it belongs to, when you enter it to activate cashback. We never ask for your name, email address, password, API keys or 2FA codes.

Information your exchange's affiliate programme reports to us for accounts created through our link: the daily trading commission for your UID (by coin), whether your account has completed the exchange's identity verification (a yes or no, not your documents), and the referral code used at sign-up.

Records of the cashback we credit and pay to your UID, and the date and amount of each payout.

If you contact us by email or Telegram (including Live Chat), the messages you send, the contact details you use, and any UID you give us so our team can set up your cashback.

Website and security data

When you visit the site, your browser sends technical information such as your IP address and browser type. Our security and delivery provider, Cloudflare, processes it to protect and deliver the site. We use your IP address briefly, in memory, to limit how many UIDs one visitor can check; we do not store it in our database.

We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or build profiles of individual visitors. We also count, per day, how many times our exchange sign-up links are used, without recording anything about who used it.

Why we use it

To check that your UID was created through our link, calculate your cashback and pay it to your exchange account.

To prevent abuse of the service, keep the site secure, and keep the accounting records we are required to keep.

What anyone can see

Anyone who enters a UID on our site can see whether it is linked to Commsback, its payout status and the date of its last payout. We never show amounts for a UID.

Who we share it with

Your exchange, to confirm your UID and to send your cashback by internal transfer.

Service providers who run the service for us: our hosting provider (servers in Japan), Cloudflare (security, delivery and analytics) and our email and messaging providers. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.

Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your UID and cashback records while your UID is linked, and afterwards for as long as we need them for accounting, legal and dispute purposes. Encrypted backups are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

Security

Data is stored on servers with restricted access. Backups are encrypted. Access to our admin tools requires two-step verification.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you dismiss an announcement, your browser remembers that on your own device only.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about your UID, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deleting it means we can no longer pay cashback to that UID. Email support@commsback.com from any address and include your UID; we may ask you to confirm you control the account.

Age

Commsback is for adults who can hold an exchange account. We do not knowingly handle information about anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
